New construction on West Bank settlement planned
The Israeli government is planning to expand an illegal settlement in the West Bank.
As the Ha'aretz article conveniently points out, this is a direct violation of the terms of the so-called "road map". Yet the Bush administration is apparently in negotiations with the Israeli government to determine exactly what they meant with the "road map" concept "an end to settlement activity". Right... who, besides Colin Powell, believes this garbage anymore?
