Bush demands more police state powers
So, Bush wants more police state powers to fight terrorism in the US.
I don't get it. Why do we need domestic laws against terrorist activity? I thought the terrorists were all heading to fight the US in Iraq these days. Doesn't Bush read Andrew Sullivan, or listen to his own national security advisor, or ever talk to Rummy and Wolfie, his genius brigade over at the Pentagon?
Meanwhile, Bin Laden pops up, two years later and still walking around and sending Al Jazeera videotapes whenever he feels the urge to ridicule Bush. Priorities? No worries.
