More on US Helicopter Shootdown
(Posted by Mano Negra)CNN is informative as always, more for what is ommitted in the article, than for what we are told.
1000 US troops go after a "training camp". What I want to know is how many Iraqi casualties?! And how many Iraqi fighters escaped? In the process the US lost a helicopter and an F16. All we get is: "Pentagon officials could not say if anyone of significance had been detained during the raid."
Pathetic. The US has around 150,000 troops in the country, if the commanders use them this ineffectively and inefficiently, Bush might as well surrender to Cuba right now.
Who thinks this is going to "quell" the "rogue elements" and "Baathist holdouts"?
