Free-trade zone now part of Bush's Mideast "vision"
Bush has proposed a free-trade zone in the Middle East for countries that "pursued broad political and economic reforms" - meaning establishing and protecting "free markets". Bush - one of the best friends that corrupt big business has ever had in the US - also said that "the plan would ensure that small and medium-sized businesses had access to capital and that corruption and self-dealing would be replaced by free markets and fair laws".Ha'aretz report adds that Arab countries will be expected to drop all boycotts against Israel.
